What it means

DFSR detected a dirty shutdown of its database and paused replication on that volume.

Why it matters

Replication stays stopped until someone resumes it.

What to do

• The event text includes the exact wmic command to resume replication; run it after confirming the volume is healthy.

Find it with PowerShell

Get-WinEvent -MaxEvents 20 -FilterHashtable @{
  LogName = 'DFS Replication'; Id = 2213
} | Select-Object TimeCreated, ProviderName, Message

Add -ComputerName SERVER to query another machine. Other event sources can reuse the same ID number, so check the ProviderName column.
